I have a super fun and colourful post to share with you today! I have the new Bundle Monster Musik City collection to show you which features new plates, stamping polishes, a double-sided clear stamper and new gel polishes. I’ll be showing you swatches of the gel polishes separately soon though they are making an appearance here too! Let’s take a look!
How colourful and pretty are those stamping polishes?! They’re pastel neons and super pigmented! This was my first experience with Bundle Monster stamping polishes. Sadly they are currently only available for purchase in the USA but Bundle Monster is working on making them available to the rest of the world soon, let’s keep our fingers crossed! I found them very pigmented and easy to work with, they do have a stronger smell but are 5-free according to the website.
I was really interested to try the dual-ended glass stamper though I had some doubts at first. After testing it out I actually ended up really loving it. You get a smaller and bigger end on each side, though you do have to remove the opposite stamper head when you are using it so you can actually see through it. Not a huge problem for me, because this means you get a perfectly clear vision of the stamp. Something that bothered me with the stamper heads that are closed off on the opposite end, if that makes sense. So I would definitely recommend this one!
Here’s a better look at the Musik City stamping plates set! It holds 10 square plates with an EDM concert inspired theme. At first glance I wasn’t sure about the theme but there are some really stunning images. I bet your eye is drawn to the owl plate too, isn’t it stunning?! Let’s take a look at the manis I came up with using these plates.
For my first mani I used the Musik City BM-S318 Raver’s Eyesight plate. I really loved this geometric image, I’m pretty predictable, haha! I decided to go with a stamping gradient because these stamping polishes could not be more perfect for a gradient!
I started with Cirque Colors Carpe Diem as my base then did a stamping gradient using Bundle Monster Rave Babe, Bundle Monster Kandi Spirit, Bundle Monster Mercury Baseline and Bundle Monster Tranceland. For the pointer and pinkie I used a simple piece of tape to almost all of the image except for one strip. Placement was easy-peasy with the clear stamper! Finished with top coat.
For my next mani I wanted to create some purple daisies. I saw some beautiful purple daisies at my neighbours house last week and when I saw this image on the Bundle Monster BM-S311 Eat, Sleep, DJ? Repeat plate I immediately thought of those daisies. Nail inspiration, score!
I started with Cirque Colors Carpe Diem as my base again then created stamping decals using Messy Mansion Carbon, Bundle Monster Monarch Dream and OPI The “IT” Color. Finished with top coat!
For my final mani I went all out and used both the new Bundle Monster Gel polishes and the stamping polishes. I used all 6 gel shades and almost all stamping polishes, except for one. The plate I used is the gorgeous epic owl plate, Bundle Monster BM-S315 Whoo Are You?.
I started by creating gradients on each nail using two gel colours. Then I stamped on top using two similar stamping polish shades but placed them opposite to the base. Pretty tricky to explain but it was quite simple! Finished with gel top coat.
You can purchase the items from the Bundle Monster Musik City collection via their official website. Everything is available as a set and individually as usual. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the gel polish swatches coming soon!
