Today I have two Halloween plates to show you from B. Loves Plates and Pueen. Let’s jump right in and take a look!
I hope you don’t mind me saying but – Halloween isn’t really a big thing in my country so I don’t really care much about the holiday. Themed nail art is something I rarely do anyway so I wasn’t super thrilled to receive either of these plates. That being said, I am sure I’m in the minority of people who feel this way so I wanted show you how I would use these plates. I didn’t create typical Halloween nails because we’ve all seen those before so I hope you like my interpretations.
First up is the Spooky Halloween plate by B. Loves Plates. This plate has everything you’d expect from a Halloween plate, from pumpkins to skulls to spiderwebs, cats, bats, ghosts, etc. Tons of stuff to choose from! I went with the drips image on the middle of the bottom row.
For my first mani I went with a luxurious gold drip mani. The drip image is really stunning, and the perfect size! I’m really happy with how these turned out and see myself using this image more in the future.
I started with Bow Polish Swamp as my base then stamped on top using Colour Alike B. a Golden Queen before finishing with top coat.
The second plate is by Pueen and is called Halloween Party 01. This image has some fun images too, like the creepy eyes on the right, sadly they were too big for me to fit onto my nails otherwise I would have used them! Instead I used the bats on the top right. I actually really love bats and see them fly by my window in the evening sometimes. They put on such a show!
I was inspired by my friend Emiline from Nail Polish Society for my gradient base. I accidentally messed up the order of the colours though but I still love them!
I started with a gradient of Essie Udon Know Me, Essie Go Go Geisha and Essie Kimono Over then stamped on top using Messy Mansion Carbon and finished up with top coat.
You can purchase B. Loves Plates products via their Etsy store and Pueen can be purchased from the official website. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to get either of these in time for Halloween but both of these brands have tons of other gorgeous plates on offer so be sure to take a look. I love and recommend both!
