What’s Up Nails – New Vinyls

Mar 11, 2016 · by Emily

I have two manicures to show you today featuring two of the new What’s Up Nails vinyls. Lena recently released five new designs including three St Patrick’s Day (March 17th) designs. I rarely do holiday related nails but could not resist since these vinyls were just too pretty. Let’s take a look!

For my first look I used two of the new vinyls including the Shamrock style and Four Leaf Clover. I used Sophin shade 341 for this mani, which I got via Hypnotic Polish, who also happens to be a stockist of What’s Up Nail vinyls! The studs are 2mm gold studs from Born Pretty Store.

For this nail I started with Cupcake Polish Magic as my base then applied top coat and waited for it to dry. Then I used used the reverse vinyl of the Shamrock and applied Sophin 341 over top. Finished with top coat again.

For this nail I started with Sophin 341 as my base and applied top coat. Then I used the reverse image again of the Four Leaf Clover vinyl this time and applied Cupcake Polish Magic over the top. Finished with another coat of top coat.

For my second look I used the new Marbled Zig Zag vinyls which are so so pretty! Perfect for watermarble n00bs like me. I used Cirque Colors Vitamin D as my base on my pointer and pinkie and added a 2mm square gold stud from Born Pretty Store. For the vinyl nails I started with Cirque Colors Carpe Diem as my base then applied top coat and the Marbled Zig Zag vinyl. Then I sponged on a gradient using Cirque Colors Vitamin D, Cirque Colors Nympho and Cirque Colors Lean. Finished with top coat!

You can purchase the vinyls I used in these manicures via What’s Up Nails or through one of their stockists including Hypnotic Polish. On the official website you can use my code EMILY10 for 10% off all nail vinyls!

That second mani is SO you, but I am loving your first one too because it’s pretty different for you and that bling looks amazing! Fabulous job showing off the vinyls Ems!

What cute vinyls!!! I love the St Patty’s Day one so much and the second one is gorgeous of course because I adore the pattern. So crisp! I haven’t tried What’s Up nail vinyls yet but have always heard awesome things about them. Thanks for sharing Em 🙂

  • Deborah – Love Varnish

That first one is amazing with all the colors, but the first one is really cute as well!

Those St. Patrick’s Day nails are so fun! I love the polishes you used…they are obviously holiday, but without being over the top! 🙂
