Today I am so excited to show you the upcoming Sunny’s Body Products Princess box! This box is themed around Disney Princesses and holds 12 amazing nail, hand and body care products. Let’s check them out!
I’m also excited to share with you that I am teaming up with my dear friend Kellie aka Kellie Gonzo. I’m sure she needs no introduction, she was one of the first people I followed when I started blogging back in 2010 and now I’m so excited I get to call her a friend. Her swatches are pretty much perfection so I’m really honoured to say that we are both bringing our SBP Princess box reviews for you today. Please head over to KellieGonzo.com to read her review as well!
A clean, refreshing fragrance – floral jasmine, lily of the valley, carnation
Sunny’s Hand Butter – Glass Slippers: First up is the hand butter which is my favourite and most-used product. This month I actually finished my first Sunny’s product and I wasn’t at all surprised it was a hand butter. This does wonders for my feet and dry skin! This one is of course inspired by Cinderella. Clean and refreshing is a very accurate description of the scent. It’s a sweet and soft floral scent that is very soothing. I seem to have a weakness for anything that contains jasmine as I really love this one.
Delicious warm beignets fresh out of the oven and sprinkled with powdered sugar
Sunny’s Lip Saver – Almost There: Next up we have the Sunny’s Lip Saver, which is my go-to lip balm. Instantly soothing to dry lips. Almost There is inspired by Princess Tiana of The Princess and The Frog. This one smells super yummy, baked perfection. Sweet but not overly so. I typically don’t like the food smells but really enjoy this one, it’s great!
Rich base of vanilla, musk and sandalwood well balanced by lively top notes of jasmine, lavender and orange
Sunny’s Cuticle Oil – A Whole New World: Next up is the Cuticle Oil, which contains sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil and vitamin E oil. This is the lighter of the two oils Sunny sells and this one has a roller ball applicator. Inspired by Princess Jasmine of Aladdin, this is a very sultry scent because of the musk and sandalwood notes. Usually I don’t like heavier scents such as this one but it smells so sexy I want to slather it all over me, LOL!
Humid nights in a damp, outdoor garden, fresh, brisk, mossy and grassy, with potted soil and terra-cotta stones and concrete statues
Sunny’s Sugar Hand Scrub – The Lost Princess: Next up is the Hand Scrub which is an awesome product. You take out a little scrub and massage it into your hands before rinsing off, then you gently pat dry your hands and massage the remainder of the oils onto your skin. Super soft hands! I was so intrigued when I read the description for this Rapunzel-inspired scent. I had no idea what to expect. It’s hard to describe but I would say this is a unisex perfume, quite strong and powerful. I wasn’t sure about this one at first but it’s growing on me.
Cool and refreshing aquatic notes deepened with water lilies and ocean breezes
Sunny’s Triple Thick Body Cream – You Want Thingamabobs?: Next up is the Triple Thick Body Cream, a nice moisturizing cream. I love using this one on my hands. It’s inspired by Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Judging from the description I expected a typical air/toilet freshener type scent but this one smells really great! A lovely soft Spring perfume that smells very soothing. Really adore this one!
Dreamy, angelic composition opens with bright bergamot citrus then quickly trails to a mix of white florals, jasmine, iris and orris that sets on a delicate vanilla, sandalwood musk silver lining
Sunny’s Bath Whip – Wishing Well: Next up we have this amazing Snow White inspired scent for the Bath Whip. The Bath Whip a product you use in the shower or bath. It foams up to a nice lather and leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean however I do need to use lots of lotion afterwards but I have very dry skin. The smell of this one, OMG! I wasn’t sure if I would like this because of the vanilla and musk but it is so heavenly. I love it! It’s quite strong but so fresh and just fantastic. The smell lingers only a tiny bit on your skin after use, so I desperately need this in an oil or butter!
White tea leaves harmonized for balanced reflective moods
Sunny’s All Over Body Balm – Bring Honor To Us: Next up is the All Over Body Balm which is perfect for dry spots or as a cuticle balm which is what I tend to use it for the most. Inspired by Mulan, I think Sunny did a fabulous job of pairing scents with their inspirations. This one has a subtle tea scent but smells really soft and soothing, very non-offensive. Perfect if you love a subtle scent. Love this one!
Succulent fruits, berries, currants and tree ripened oranges accent this cool, moist mossy undertones of soil, fallen leaves and sagebrush
Sunny’s Dry Spot Healer – Colors Of The Wind: Next up is the Dry Spot Healer which is one of the newer products.I love slathering this on my hands before bed, such a great consistency. This one is inspired by Pocahontas which was one of my favourites growing up! I don’t love this scent in the tub but once you apply it to your skin and it melts a bit, it develops more and gets better.
Cool mints, camphor and bitter woods highlight a winter trek through the driven snow
Sunny’s On the Go Hand Lotion – Let It Go: Next up is the On the Go Hand Lotion which has a similar consistency to OPI Avojuice lotion. This one is inspired by Elsa from Frozen but you probably guessed that! I really love the mint in this scent but personally don’t like camphor so this one isn’t really for me. The fiancé loved this one though!
Sweet spun sugar surrounds soft barley
Sunny’s Lip Scrub – Blue Dress Pink Dress: Next up is the lip scrub which is one of the newer products. This gets rid of all the dead skin and makes your lips feel super smooth and moisturised. This one is inspired by Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. I would describe this scent as sickly sweet, sadly not for me but I know there are many who do love these sweet scents!
Refreshing combo of woods, pines and cool misty breezes
Sunny’s Intensive Cuticle Therapy – Be Brave: Next up is the Intensive Cuticle Therapy which is my second most-used Sunny’s product. This oil is heavier and contains Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Hazelnut Oil and Rosehip Seed Oil. I use this every single day on my nails! This one is inspired by Merida from Brave. It smells just divine! Like walking through a pine forest. It’s again unisex so great for both men and women. Possibly my favourite from the box!
A bed of roses surrounded by gardenias and plumerias
Sunny’s Miracle Balm – Be Our Guest: Finally we have the Miracle Balm, a great soothing balm for dry skin and cuticles. If used sparingly it’s not very shiny so great for swatchers! As the description suggests, this one is very (very) floral. This smells a bit like air freshener to me. I don’t love it but don’t hate it either, I was going to say you will either hate or love this but I’m terribly undecided (as always).
Of course I couldn’t leave you without a close-up of my nails. These were a pain to do and photographed terribly but they were so gorgeous in person! I started with two layers of Gelaze Innocence then individually placed pastel rainbow circle glitters from Born Pretty Store in the sticky inhibition layer before finishing with two thin coats of Gelaze top coat.
You can purchase the Sunny’s Body Products Princess box via the official website. The box launches Wednesday May 18th and will be available for $50 with free shipping (USA) and $50 + $5 shipping (everywhere else). Overall this box is perfect for the Spring season and has a great variety of scents, there is bound to be something you will love. My personal favourites were Be Brave, Glass Slippers, Wishing Well and Bring Honor To Us. If you haven’t already make sure to head over to Kellie Gonzo to read her thoughts on this box as well!
