Necklace Inspired Nails

Quick announcement! Yesterday I migrated my commenting system from Intense Debate to Disqus. It didn’t go as smoothly as I was hoping as Disqus underwent maintenance while I was importing my comments (frustrating!). Luckily nothing was lost! :D The main difference with Disqus is that you can now use Facebook or Twitter to place a comment on my blog! It’s quicker and easier than ever! And no worries, you can also still log in as a guest if you don’t have a social media account. A lot of websites use this system so it should be familiar to most of you. I hope you like the system! Let me know how it works for you.
Today I am sharing a nail art manicure inspired by a necklace from Born Pretty Store. I’ve been eyeing it up on the website for quite some time and I finally got my hands on it this week. It features five triangular shaped pendants with a fun black and white design. So pretty!
For this manicure I attempted to recreate the black and white design of the necklace on my ring finger. I used CND Vinylux in Cream Puff as a base and ORLY Instant Artist striper in black. On my middle finger I used a gorgeous gold nail polish from Zoya called Goldie. This is the first time I am using Zoya on my blog (believe it or not)!!! I only own three bottles of Zoya. They are either tricky to source or very expensive for me so I don’t own a lot of them sadly. I love the bottles/brushes and formula though! This gorgeous gold was a gift of my dear friend Katt! Thanks Katt! :D
On my pointer and pinkie I used a beautiful dusty mint polish by Catrice called Mint Me Up. It’s being discontinued so I grabbed it during the 50% off sale. It has a stunning gold shimmer/flakie to it. It’s subtle but very beautiful. It’s a very vintage-y mint colour! I also added a gold textured square stud to both nails. I can’t stop using these in my manicures! Forgive me! :D
You can find the Born Pretty Store black and white necklace on the website here for $6.73. The quality is really amazing and it’s such a nice statement piece. You can find the textured studs here for just $3.23. Make sure to use my code EMILYW21 for a 10% discount.
Hope you like it! Make sure to give my new Disqus commenting system a go and let me know if you like these!
