I’m back with another swatch today featuring an amazing indie lacquer brand I have been dying to try, Happy Hands Nail Polish! The lovely Mei Mei sent this to me, she has tons of gorgeous Happy Hands shades on her site so make sure to take a look. Mei Mei has an absolutely whopping range of indie brands, you can literally spend hours on her site. 😀 First let’s take a look at the Happy Hands Nail Polish swatch I have for you today.
This is Happy Hands Fairy Tale, which is a Mei Mei’s Signatures exclusive shade! You won’t find it anywhere else. Mei Mei’s signature colour is pink, so a lot of her exclusives feature pink! This Happy Hands exclusive is no different and features subtle pink glitter in a milky base. A slightly different take on pink and definitely one I love! So delicate and beautiful.
I layered two coats of Happy Hands Fairy Tale over a coat of white. You can layer it on its own and get opacity at around three coats but I found application more pleasant with not as many layers of glitter. It’s personal preference I guess! Apart from pink glitter you’ll also find several shapes of grey glitter and some small gold hexies. I thought the grey glitter was so stunning! Really beautiful.
Finally, a close-up! You can definitely see the pink and greyish glitter, as well as the smaller gold glitter if you look closely. A really stunning and soft combination. P.s. Did I mention how much I love the Happy Hands label? It’s so stunning! The bottles are absolutely gorgeous too!
You can find Happy Hands Fairy Tale exclusively at Mei Mei’s Signatures for S$15.00. Each bottle holds 15ml and two zinc-free stainless steel balls. Make sure to check out the entire Happy Hands range available at Mei Mei’s Signatures, they are absolutely stunning. You can also connect with Mei Mei on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and say hello to Kristi (the owner of Happy Hands polish) on Facebook, Twitter and take a look at their Etsy shop.
