Today I have a pretty special swatch post to share with you. These two polishes I am going to show you are my two most prized possessions in my polish stash! Both of these were created by Michelle of Sonoma Nail Art, and they both have a theme in common; Sarah of Chalkboard Nails! 😀
SWHAPBRTAILLLICHY and Chalkboard Nails
Sarah has been a great friend to me for a while now, she’s not only an amazing nail artist but she is also hilarious, kind and just super awesome! She’s always there for me when I need advice or when I need a laugh. She never fails to cheer me up! Now enough about what a wonderful person Sarah is, let’s take a look at the polishes! 😀

The first one is called “Sarah Waite Has A Problem But Refuses To Acknowledge It La La La I Can’t Hear You” (SWHAPBRTAILLLICHY for short :D), and was created by Michelle as a bit of a “joke” and wink to Sarah’s obsession with black and white glitters. The special name and label was a limited edition created only for Sarah and some friends, but don’t worry! You can still get your hands on it as Michelle released this polish under the name “My Three Glitters” in her Etsy Shop, Sonoma Nail Art.
Here’s a swatch of SWHAPBRTAILLLICHY! I layered one coat over two coats of China Glaze Pelican Gray. It contains black and white string glitter, large black diamond glitter, large square white glitter and small black and white hex glitters. The glitters sit in a clear suspension base. The best way to apply this is by using a dabbing method, this way you can easily get the glitter nicely spread out across the nail.

The second polish was created by Michelle per request of Sarah and will be available very soon in Michelle’s Etsy shop. It’s called Chalkboard Nails and features a beautiful charcoal black base with green sparkles and white glitter. Five lucky winners will have the chance to get their hands on one of these beauties before it goes up in Michelle’s store. Make sure to check out Sarah’s giveaway as it closes in just three days!
I used three coats for my swatch of Chalkboard Nails. As you can see, it has subtle but beautiful green sparkle scattered across the greyish black base. There’s large and small white hex glitters that represent the chalk. Sarah was kind enough to send me this beautiful polish as a Christmas present! I genuinely started screaming when I unwrapped this! I think it’s such a beautiful and unique glitter, it completely ties in with the chalkboard theme.
Huge thanks to Sarah for being the inspiration for both of these wonderful polishes and thanks to Michelle for creating them. Make sure to check out both Sarah’s blog Chalkboard Nails and Michelle’s Etsy Store Sonoma Nail Art! Keep an eye out on Michelle’s Facebook page to be notified when she restocks. And of course, don’t forget to enter Sarah’s giveaway to win a bottle of Chalkboard Nails!
