Q: Are those your real nails?
A: Yes, all nail pictures on my blog are my natural nails.
Q: How do you keep your nails strong and healthy?
A: When my nails were more brittle I used the treatments Duri Rejuvacote and OPI Nail Envy. They helped my nails to become stronger. Now I don’t require those treatments anymore. Daily moisturising is what keeps my nails healthy and strong.
Q: How long have you been doing nails?
A: I started my blog January 1st 2010 when I first got into doing nails. I started really basic with some leopard prints. Practice definitely makes perfect! I promise you can do it too with practice but be patient because it takes a lot of time. Have fun with it and don’t be afraid to experiment.
Q: Which top coat and base coats do you like to use?
A: I tend to mix it up a lot. Currently I’m using Cirque Colors Hold Fast base coat or Super Chic Lacquer Bring It On base coat which prevents staining. For top coat I love Glisten & Glow HK Girl or Super Chic Lacquer Marvel top coat.
Q: What kind of camera do you use?
A: I use a Canon EOS 60D with a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 zoomlens or a Canon 50mm f1.8 with a extension tubes for macros. My lighting set-up is fairly simple, I just use natural daylight. I take my photos on bright days indoors by a window. For holographic nail polishes I also use direct light photos which are taken with flash to mimic bright sunlight.
Q: Which stampers do you use for stamping?
A: I use several different ones, depending on what I am stamping. You can check out my Battle Of The Stampers comparison post here, where I pitted some of my favourite stampers against each other. Lately I mainly use clear jelly stamper.
Q: Where do you live? And what language do you speak?
I live in Belgium which is a tiny country sandwiched between France, Germany and The Netherlands. I live right on the border with The Netherlands. Dutch (or Flemish) is the language I speak at home.
Q: Can I use your pictures on my site or blog?
A: You can share my pictures, as long as you give credit and DO NOT remove any watermarks or alter my photos in any way. Credit means adding a link back to the original post or my blog.
Q: Where did you buy this item or product?
A: I almost always state in the post where I purchased the items or where you can find it available for purchase. Usually you will find this information at the bottom of the post so make sure to check! If I failed to mention, just ask me in the comments and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
