Today I have a nail art to share with you! A simple black and white manicure I created this week. Let’s take a look!
I started with OPI My Vampire Is Buff as my base for this manicure. It’s a gorgeous off-white colour which has become a little famous due to its popularity, it’s one of my personal favourites in any case! I love it so much. I used three thin coats for perfect coverage but you could get away with two thicker ones.
I then freehanded a black and white geometrical design using my ORLY Instant Artist stripers. I seriously cannot live without them! I used Jet Black and Crisp White. You can find these on Amazon for around $5 I believe. Hands down, best stripers I’ve ever used. They are water based so they don’t dry out as quickly and you simply add a few drops of water if they start getting thick. I’ve had mine since last summer (ish?) and they are still perfect!
This design was inspired by a Madeline Poole design I spotted on Tumblr. I just love simplistic and geometric designs like this. Very effective, especially from a distance. I tend to get a lot more compliments on my nails when I have a design on my nails that still looks striking from further away. This was definitely one of those!
Hope you like it! Make sure to let me know in the comments if you do.
