Sorry for the lack of posts lately, summer’s been busy and very hot! My boyfriend’s been here a lot, he passed his exams so we’re enjoying a 3 month holiday together! We had lots of plans for the past few days but nearly all of them fell through, it’s simply been too hot to do anything lately. Though last Tuesday it wasn’t as hot, so we decided to go shopping in Antwerp. I bought tons of dresses and he bought at least six T-shirts cause he had several stolen at the Rock Werchter festival.
While he was at Rock Werchter I went to my sister’s birthday party. This is what I made her, a shoulder bag, a pencil-case and a wallet. Besides the wallet the fabrics are from IKEA, when I saw them I knew she would love them! The wallet is from an old fabric her mum bought for my mum in Africa years ago. We’re half sisters, hence… I really hope she liked them and will enjoy using them.
In Antwerp I bought this stunning lace jacket at H&M, it was a bit expensive at €39,99 but I just fell in love with it.
Ignore the clutter behind me, I’m in Dries’ room and we had to rearrange it completely so we could put two mattresses together, yay for the Simpsons pillowcases!
The black dress I’m wearing in this picture is also from H&M, and because I loved it so much (and because it was so cheap! Just €6,95) I bought it in several of other colours as well. Only the black one and the green zebra print were a size small, the others were a size medium and too loose fitting so I’m going to take them in a bit.

Last week we also went to the house of his departed grandparents, the house still needs clearing out and cleaning up before it’s being sold. We went alongside his parents to see if there were things we wanted that would be chucked otherwise. I found this gorgeous snake skin clutch, I’m not sure if it’s real or fake, though I’m guessing it’s genuine.
I cut Dries’ hair on Sunday cause it was bothering him, on the back of his head it tends to grow all wonky so I cut it straight, after that I took some passport photos for his new ID!

The left one is the one we picked eventually, though the one on the right would have been way more awesome! Oh god, how I love my dorky boyfriend 
Die kleedjes van H&M staan mij echt langs geen kanten! Vorig jaar waren er zo’n spannende kleedjes met knoopjes bovenaan, ik heb spijt dat ik er daarvan niet meerdere heb gekocht want dat is echt mijn ding! Nu zijn er enkel nog zonder die knopjes en ik vind het echt zonde. Dries zijn haar is mooi trouwens! Je bent een goeie kapper zo te zien! Die spulletjes dat je voor je zus gemaakt hebt zijn echt SUPER! Spijtig dat mijn verjaardag al gepasseerd is want zo’n pennenzakje zou ik wel willen ;-)
Je hebt al een drukke vakantie gehad zie ik, hopelijk gaat alles goed! xx
Bij mij is’t wat hit & miss bij H&M, soms vind’k echt alles lelijk of zoals nu vind ik alles leuk, maar ook niet alles staat mij mooi. Deze kleedjes zijn zo heel basic dus wel plezant, die aanspannende dingen zijn moeilijk omdat da ni bij ieder lichaamstype past, heb ik ook al ondervonden… Dries zal da graag horen da je zijn haar mooi vindt, hij zaagt er altijd over
Pennenzakjes zijn supersimpel om te maken eigenlijk! Staan ook veel leuke tutorials op internet. De vakantie is niet superdruk maar ik hou me wel bezig, post nu wat minder omdat als Dries hier is (en het zo warm is) ik ook niet veel zin heb om achter de computer te kruipen om te schrijven enzovoorts. Alles goed hier voor de rest, hopelijk met jou ook en nog een fijne vakantie toegewenst! x
Ik stond ook niet met de kleedjes & khad er echt spijt van want ze zijn zo goedkoop en leuk! Mooie vondsten en maaksels ook.
En grappige foto’s van Dries. (en ja zijn haar is wel goed!) Mijn kamer lag ook altijd zo overhoop als Andries bleef slapen, toen was ik dat beu en heb ik een dubbel bed gekocht.
Dankjewel! Ja bij mij gingen die wel heel goed maar ‘k heb ook vrij veel boezem, misschien daarmee. Leuk om eindelijk eens iets te vinden dat bovenaan bij mij ook past want meestal zijn de dingen bij H&M voor mij te klein daar.
Ik heb altijd al een dubbel bed gehad, Dries zijn kamer is wat klein voor een dubbel bed dus moeten we ons zo behelpen. Voos! Haha. Heb enkel zijn haar achteraan bijgeknipt en rond zijn oren, vooraan niet echt aangeweest want ik wil dat hij het nog wat laat groeien
