B/W Eerie Nail Art

14th July, 2014 - Posted by Emily - 10 Comments

Today it’s time for my favourite post of the week, nail art Monday! I have a simple but fun nail art to show you featuring mainly black and white poklishes, and my piCture pOlish collaboration shade Eerie. Let’s take a look!

This look, especially the bow nails were inspired by Japanese nail art. On my pointer and pinkie I went for a geometric design. Not sure if this look ties perfectly together but I still like it. What do you think?

On my pointer and pinkie I started with a white base using Essence Hattrick!, then freehanded a geometric design using ORLY Instant Artist striper in Jet Black. On my pinkie I created a line effect going from thick to thin stripes.

Then for the bow nails I started with a base of Rimmel Let’s Get Nude, then used Essence Hattrick! on my ring finger and piCture pOlish Eerie on my middle finger to cover about 2/3 of the nail. I then placed some gold striping tape along the edge, painted two hearts in the middle using the ORLY striper to form a bow. To finish I placed a gold half pearl in the middle and Seche Vite to seal everything in place.

By the way, I’ve closed this weekends poll and would like to thank you all for your answers and input! I’ve decided to leave things as they are for the time being and not change the aspect ratio of my photos. Thanks again!

I think it would have been fun to add a stripe or 2 with Eerie on your pinkie to get the color scheme more pulled together, but other than that I love what you did!

Yeah I agree that would probably have worked better! Thanks!
