Elegant Touch – Nail Candy Kit Review

I have another Elegant Touch review for you today! This set however is a lot more exciting (I think!) because it features nail art! Yay! I’m really impressed with this product! This kit makes nail art fun and easy for everyone. Let’s find out more!
Inside the kit you will find 24 false nails, glue tabs and two sheets of pre-cut nail wraps. I believe they have 3 different kits available at the moment. The kit I received features raspberry coloured false nails, hot pink nail wraps with leopard print and blue gem wraps. You can use the two wraps together as pictured on the packaging but I decided to use them separately!

These are the false nails decorated with the pink wraps. The wraps are pre-cut so all I had to do was file off the excess or clip them down on the sides. I was really impressed with how easy to use they are. I love the end result! They look so fun and it took me hardly no time at all to create this look.

I decided to use the blue gem wraps on my natural nails. I used GOSH Attitude as a base colour. Really love how the light blue gems look with the dark blue base colour. These gems are sticker sheets, most of them didn’t need any cutting at all. They were so easy to use and comfortable to wear. They’re slightly 3D which makes for a really cool effect! Love it!
The set also comes with glue tabs for the false nails. I personally prefer to use glue tabs over nail glue, tabs are easy to use and less damaging to the nail. I’ve had really amazing results with glue tabs (up to 2 weeks of wear!) so they work very well. The only downside is they are a lot tricker (if not impossible) to reattach once they’ve come off, whereas with nail glue you can easily reattach just by using more glue.
Overall I’m really impressed with this Nail Candy kit, the stickers are easy to use and great quality. I also love how this brings nail art to the masses and makes it easy for beginners. The set comes with a lot of stickers so you will be able to use them several times. You can find Elegant Touch products at Ulta in the US, Superdrug and Boots (and many other stores) in the UK and at Di and Kruidvat in Belgium and The Netherlands.

Oh I like how it comes with wraps as well as the false nail tips! Gives you more of a wider range of choice.

It\’s really nice isn\’t it? The wraps are really great, no fuss and great results. They don\’t wrinkle up and they are pre-cut so super easy and quick to use.

Hi Emily! They look great!!!
I have a question, when using false nails, do you file them before applying them or after it?

Thanks for your comment! Yes the fact that they are pre cut makes them SO easy to you. You can have your pick between thin strips, wider strips, half moons, etc etc. I sadly forgot to include a picture of the wrap sheets >.< but they\'re so great! x

Thanks so much Tami! When I try them on I look for the right sizes first, then see if the base curve of the nail matches my nail beds. I file them shorter or to shape once I have applied them!
Hope that helps! Actually with this set I didn’t need to file the nails whatsoever. It’s so strange, the shape of the nails was almost exactly the same as my natural nails!
