Born Pretty Store Review – Lipsticks

Recently Born Pretty Store added a range of lipsticks to their store. I was super excited and dying to try them out since I saw that they were mostly neutral shades (the only lipstick colours that suit me). I picked three shades, hoping they would all fall under the neutral or coral category, and to my surprise they did! I’m really in love with the colours, they are simply stunning.
The lipsticks come in a box which holds some information like ingredients (I think?) and the shade number. The information is in Chinese so I’m not sure what the exact ingredients are, I also can’t seem to find a website of the brand. Pretty much the only text in English on the box says “Keeps lips moist”, which is definitely not a lie!
From left to right: 603, 604 and 602. They come in a metallic pink metal barrel adorned with small rhinestones. I’m not in love with the packaging but I don’t really mind it either. My favourite out of these three is the middle one, 604. It’s hard to describe, but on me it’s this gorgeous coral shade. It’s not quite as dark as it looks in the picture above. It’s seriously my new favourite lipstick shade I own!
What I loved most about these lipsticks was the formula. They are very pigmented, there’s a ton of colour payoff so you will only need one layer. They are super creamy and moisturizing, I’ve also found that they don’t bleed either. I don’t have the most even lips and when I don’t scrub them, lipsticks sometimes will sink into the lines of my lips and look unflattering. These lipsticks didn’t do that! Yay! The only downside is that they aren’t that long lasting, so you will need to reapply every few hours.

If you love neutral lipsticks like me, these are definitely a must-try. At $4.56 a piece they’re also very affordable. In quality and price range I found these comparable to Catrice lipsticks, only these are a lot more moisturizing.
