Nails Inc for InStyle Magazine

Apologies are in order, this post is very overdue as I picked these two polishes up on Thursday. I’ve had some busy days, mostly cause of my mum’s birthday. We have a tradition to turn her birthday into a “birthweek” as there’s always lots of exciting trips and activities planned. One of these trips was to Antwerp, when I walked inside of the IMS (International Magazine Store) I saw POLISHES! Imagine my excitement when I noticed they were Nails Inc polishes attached with the latest InStyle issue. I was tempted to get all three shades but decided to skip the pink in the end. Let’s look at the two I did buy!

On the left there’s Peach Smoothie and on the right Bluebell. We don’t have Nails Inc in Belgium as far as I’m aware so I was pretty excited to get these. My very first Nails Inc polishes!

Peach Smoothie – How gorgeous and delicate is this shade? I was so glad this wasn’t a sheer pink but a lovely opaque one instead. In the bottle this looks more flesh toned but on my nails it’s definitely pink! The first coat was on the streaky side but it evened out after three coats. The formula of this was on the thicker side but still workable.

Bluebell – I believe this was two-three coats. I adore this periwinkle blue! This is an almost exact dupe for Models Own Beth’s Blue though, in the bottle they look exactly the same but on the nails Bluebell is a tiny bit lighter.

I was so over the moon I found these, I know UK magazines often give awesome freebies with their latest issues. Something Belgian magazines rarely do. If you are in the UK, did you manage to get your hands on these? Do you own any Nails Inc polishes?

Wow, how cool to get polishes with a magazine. I've never seen that so it must just be a UK thing. Lovely blue!

I love Peach Smoothie, but Bluebell is gorgeous as well. I don't think I'll find this in dutch stores, but I'll take a look. I know the British Marie Claire had something like this with Ciaté. I wish this happened more often!

hee, I have one bottle from a UK Glamour magazine I got, it's the color Basil Street. I love the color, but I hated the application (I don't know why, it just was goopy at times and didn't want to dry quick enough or.. I'm not sure), I used it a couple of times.

That's a shame Claudia! I didn't mind the application but I did have higher expectations. Basil Street looks like a gorgeous colour though!
