Palindrome Nails
13th May, 2012 - Posted by Emily - 9 Comments

Here’s a nail art I did not too long ago! When I showed these to the awesome and wonderful Sarah they immediately made her think of palindromes. You know, a word or phrase that can be read in both ways, a palindrome! Isn’t that just the perfect word to describe these nails? I definitely thought so.
I decided to try something different accent nail wise and came up with these by accident actually. I really like how it looks! What do you think?
What I used to create these:
- Born Pretty Store BK 16
- H&M No Mambo Jambo
- It’s So Easy Stripe Rite in black
- Born Pretty Store 2mm gold studs
- Martha Stewart glitter in Yellow Barite
By the way, I just quickly wanted to thank everyone who’s entered my giveaway so far, your sweet comments have really touched me. I am so grateful to have you guys as readers and fans of my blog. You’re the best! All of you!
If you haven’t entered my giveaway yet, it’s still open so take a look!

Hey Srishti! Thank you
it was very simple, you just need some loose glitter! Paint your nails in the colour of the glitter you are going to use, or with a clear polish, and while it's still wet, dip it in the glitter! You just tap off the excess and topcoat it and you're done! Easy

heyy, this has nothing to do with this post but i had a question. i'm at an internship and its business casual so i can't do anything too crazy with my nails but i'm getting bored with just plain colors. what can i do?

You could try holographic polish? Or colour changing polish, they're solid colours as well but they change colour according to your temperature so that changes it up a bit haha. Or half moon nails, ombre, or gradients in subtle colours. I think those are work appropriate as well and more fun than just basic solid colour. Hope that gives you some ideas! x
