Essence Fruity LE – Swatches

Today I have swatches for you of 3 of the 5 polishes from the latest Essence Fruity limited edition. I wasn’t planning on buying all of the three glitters but my boyfriend (being the enabler that he is) urged me to buy all three. “If you’ll buy them for me, sure” is what I told him, and to my surprise he did. Thanks darling!
The other two polishes from the collection are a sheer yellow and jelly orange, they didn’t take my fancy so I skipped those. The glitters looked a lot more interesting anyway! All nail polishes in this collection are €1,79 and the two topcoats are €1,99.

From left to right: One Kiwi A Day, Mashed Berries and Very Cherry. The names aren’t written on the bottles which is very annoying but I managed to find the names on the site.

One Kiwi A Day – A very appropriate name for this green glitter. It has emerald green glitters which spread nice and evenly across the nails. All three polishes are somewhat on the sheer side so you definitely need 3-4 coats to get good coverage. This was four coats I believe.

Mashed Berries – This one is a peach with a hint of shimmer to it (if you look closely you can see it on my ring finger). You don’t notice the shimmer in the bottle and since it looks quite subtle on the nails, I quite like it. This one has fuchsia glitter, the same glitter as Very Cherry. I wish they went for a more peachy or red glitter instead but it’s still really cute. This was three coats.

Very Cherry – As you can see this one is super glossy, it’s a pink jelly with fuchsia glitter. No shimmer in this one. I think this one is the best out of the three cause they used a jelly base. All the glitters show up really nicely. Overall I think this collection is really great, I definitely feel ready for summer! And obviously I also highly approve of the name of this polish.

Also in this collection is a scented top coat and a sealing top coat. I haven’t tested the sealing top coat yet but I imagine it is similar, if not the same, to their nail art sealing top coat which I love. The scented top coat is a fun novelty item, though the smell does not remind me of fruit, even though it’s supposed to smell like strawberries. It’s more a sort of bubblegum-candy scent to me, it’s nice but not unique.
Are you picking anything up from this collection? If so, what? Let me know!

Ze zijn schattig hé?
En nee, in de kruidvat in Hulst. Al hoopte ik wel meer op Soul Sista, hopelijk komt die naar BE/NL.

I was so in love with them when I saw the promo pics ! They are still not in my usual Kruidvat(s) but I went to Germany today and got them. Hardly, but I have the three glitter and the scented top coat so I'm happy
Your swatches are pretty, I can't wait to try them on … Will I start with the pink one or the green one ?

Oh yay! I was really intrigued by them too, I'm glad I have all three. I'm not sure I will wear them often but they are so cute. I would start with the pink one!!! It's so glossy

They look really pretty! They remind me of a collection Ludurana launched a while ago, but different colors.
I loved the Kiwi ^^
What really interested me was the sealing topcoat, I don't own anything like it, and will keep my eyes open for somehting like it!

I'm glad you like them Danielle! What was that Ludurana collection called? The sealing topcoat is really nice, I like using it, it's cheap and does the trick! It keeps your design shiny and the wear is quite decent too

I picked the same items as you did and so far I tried only the pink polish. It's super annoying that the names aren't written on the bottles :/.
But the colors are just fantastic and just as you do – I love their sealing top coat and I'm hoping these are the same.
