China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters – Swatches
I have swatches for you of my two favourites from the China Glaze Prismatic collection. This collection is all about sparkles, so dear fans of glitter polish, grab on to your seat and feast your eyes on these!
The full collection consists of these six! From left to right they are called: Optical Illusion – Ray-Diant – Polarized – Liquid Crystal – Prism – Full Spectrum.
I have swatches for you of Optical Illusion and Prism!
China Glaze describes Optical Illusion as follows: Aqua green glimmers with a hint of purple filled with pink, yellow, silver, orange and green flecks.
Optical Illusion – Capturing these glitters was so hard. The duochrome effect is very subtle in person but it’s there, this one changes from green to pink/purple. There’s very fine green glitter and multi coloured hex glitters that sit in a clear base. For my personal taste the multi coloured glitter is overkill, I would have loved these a lot more if they didn’t have them. But for some reason it does work, it gives them more dimension!
China Glaze describes Prism as follows: Grape purple holographic gleams with pink shimmer and glitters with pieces of pink, blue, green, orange, silver and gold.
Prism – This one also has a duochrome effect which changes from purple to yellow, I failed to capture it in the pictures so you’ll have to take my word for it. I used three coats for both these swatches. They are super dense so you could get away with two thicker coats. This one is my favourite out of the two! Really gorgeous.
Overall I think if you love glitter I could totally recommend these! The quality is amazing and they are super easy to work with. If you overlook the fact that glitters are harder to remove obviously! I prefer more uniform glitters or glitter topcoats but they are still very beautiful. They remind me of jewels and gems.
Which is your favourite out of the collection? Did you buy any of the Prismatic glitters or plan on getting them?
