piCture pOlish – Opulence Range Swatches

I know I only just posted a new blogpost yesterday but I have another one for you today! These three new nail polishes from piCture pOlish launch on Monday 2 April so I wanted to get this post online as soon as possible.
Let’s take a look!

This is my first experience with piCture pOlish, they are an Australian-based brand. They offer all kinds of shades from cremes to neons to flakies and glitters. Definitely something for everyone! I love their tagline as well, “A week on your tips, never on your hips”. I think their bottles look really pretty too. I like that the name of the polish is written on the front, it’s a bit different to what I am used to but that makes it all the more fun. Really excited about this brand!
These three polishes are their latest shades from the Opulence collection. Opulence means luxurious or abundance. These polishes definitely fit that description! Let’s take a look at the bottles and swatches up close.

First up is Monroe! It’s a blood red jelly with holo glitter dust. In the sunshine it turns into an amazing holo rainbow, in the shade the particles become silver which makes it look very delicate.

This was taken in the shade, as you can see the holo rainbow turns into a subtle silver shimmer effect. I made a picture in the sun as well! I am not a huge fan of reds but I think this is a truly gorgeous shade. It’s really unique and different to other reds I’ve seen. It applied very nicely and was surprisingly opaque for a jelly in just three coats. You could probably get away with two as well. It dries with a gorgeous glossy finish!

Second is Mask-A-Rade! This one is multichrome glitter. Capturing it was quite hard, it shifts from all kinds of colours to orange and pink. Making a picture of mid-shift was pretty hard so you can compare the above bottle shot with the one below.

This is two coats of Mask-A-Rade layered over a black creme polish. It’s a layering polish as the glitter particles sit in a clear base. This is my favourite out of the three! It looks very subtle from a distance but up close it’s so awesome. Very pretty!

Finally here’s Peacock. An emerald green hex glitter with smaller silver rectangle glitters which sit in a sheer purple base.

This is three coats of Peacock with topcoat as it dries with a dull finish. My picture didn’t really capture the true emerald green glitter. The purple base doesn’t show as much in the bottle but on the nails you really get the full effect. I love anything with peacock colours so this one’s right up my alley. Really gorgeous!
Overall I am very impressed with these piCture pOlish polishes! They are all wonderful shades and applied really nicely. As I stated at the top of this post, these will go on sale on Monday 2 April for 13.50 AUD a piece on their website. You can find piCture pOlish on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest as well!
Do you own any piCture pOlish shades? Which is your favourite out of these three? Let me know!

Thanks! Especially Monroe is super glossy on its own, no topcoat! It does remind a bit of Shellac!
