Mood Polish Mix’nMatch

19th February, 2012 - Posted by Emily - 8 Comments

Recently I acquired another one of the Born Pretty Store mood polishes. This time one that changes from white to pink – white being hot, pink being cold. On its own I find mood polish somewhat boring, for me personally at least. So I thought I’d do a nail art manicure incorporating mood polish as part of the design to make it more interesting!

I decided to do one of my typical mix’n match manicures. Here is how it looked when I had cold hands, I went outside and the white background is – you guessed it – snow!

This is what it looks like with warm hands, all safe back inside the house! Colour changing mood polish is such a great topic of conversation, people and especially kids are very intrigued. My boyfriend’s cousin Marie LOVED this! :D

The base colour I used is China Glaze Pelican Grey, the mood polish is this one from Born Pretty Store and the studs on the accent nail are the 1.5mm silver studs also from Born Pretty Store.

Have you ever tried mood polish? What did you think of it?

Hoe mooi! Pelican Grey lijkt me een hele mooie kleur.

Dankje!

Thanks Gwenn! And honestly I think it could work! Especially with the Born Pretty mood polishes, they're opaque enough so I think it should work! I would be so excited to see you try that! xo
