V-Gap Nails
31st January, 2012 - Posted by Emily - 13 Comments

This post features the gorgeous V-Gap manicure made famous by the amazing nail artist Sophy Robson. I see it so often on Tumblr and everytime I’m in love with its simplicity and beauty. They’re very stylish, much like half moons but more interesting I think!
I used two layers of China Glaze Innocence as a base and freehanded the purple with China Glaze VIII. I love doing designs where I don’t need to use nail art brushes. Even though I love working with brushes, creating something nice with just the bottle’s brush is a real accomplishment I think.
p.s. The hand pose is a cheeky wink to Sarah from Chalkboardnails.
