Arizona Cherry Blossom Birthday Nails

Happy birthday to me! :D Today I turned 20! Finally!!! These are the nails I wore for my birthday. I didn’t know what to do for a looong time, I decided in the end not to go for the popular themes such as glitter or cupcakes but I went for cherry blossoms instead!

I’ve been noticing and admiring the Arizona bottles for a very long time but haven’t had the change to try them up until recently. I chose the prettiest bottle I could find with the iconic Cherry Blossoms with Green Tea and Honey flavour. Now it has to be said I am anything but a fan of Green Tea but girls was this delicious! So refreshing! Cannot wait to try it again.

Now I’ve been meaning to do cherry blossom nails in ages, I’ve tried them a few times but they never really worked for me. I just couldn’t get them right for some reason. This time however I had the Arizona bottle to inspire me. It definitely helped!

Polishes used were:

  • China Glaze Re-Freshmint
  • China Glaze Rich & Famous
  • Models Own Mushroom
  • Catrice Absolutely Chinchilly
  • China Glaze Snow

The base coat I used is China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat and I am honestly very much in love with it. I can highly recommend it!!! It’s made my manicures last significantly longer! Top coat is Nail Art Sealing Top Coat by Essence.

Gelukkige verjaardag! Eindelijk een twintiger :)

Dat vind ik trouwens ook het mooiste Arizona flesje (ligt waarschijnlijk aan het muntgroen). Heel mooi gedaan!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Thank you for everything in the past couple of days! I hope that being twenty – nay, your whole life – is awesome because you are just such a dear to everyone else <3

This came out STUNNING! I'm a sucker for mint green and pink so I naturally love the colors, but the way you blended the flowers is gorgeous! I can't believe how perfect they came out! Also, I think I might try that basecoat hehe…

Anyways…I LUV AriZona tea! My favorites are Arnold Palmer (drinking one as we speak…) and Raspberry Iced Tea, but I like pretty much all of them :3 I legitimately have mock-ups for an Arnold Palmer and a Raspberry Iced tea mani (Once I get that dang BPS order lmao) for once I get situated with my nail issues! I'm also planning to do a Jones Soda themed mani, and possibly even a SunDrop mani. So many manis…so little time!

Mireille, Thank you so much!! :)

Silke, Bedankt! En inderdaad, eeeeeindelijk haha! En ja 't is ook mijn favoriet, zo mooi! En zo lekker! Mmm!

Kaitie, Awww thanks so much!!! You're the best! Me too, mint green is my favourite colour by far not just for nails. Really glad you like them! I'm way too picky and am nowhere near 100% pleased with how they turned out though haha. I should really try some more Arizona flavours! I've only tried this green tea with honey one so far but I am definitely hooked! :D

I'm impressed haha! :D
