Van d’Go Mix’n Match Nails

With my USA haul I got Essie Van D’Go. The first and still only Essie polish I own. They’ve recently officially released in Belgium, you can buy Essie at Di and Ici Paris XL now as well as salons but at a whopping €10,90 ($15) a bottle. Thanks but no thanks! Very sad since this polish is really awesome. I would really love to own more Essies!

The formula of this gorgeous sweet pink is really great even though it takes three coats to get completely streak-free coverage. I found that it dried very fast on me and stayed put very well so no complaints. For this manicure I also used China Glaze Jitterbug, Essence Got A Secret and black and white nail art pens.

As you can see I’m wearing my nails au naturel at the moment. I’m taking a little break from wearing nail tips. I’ve not grown tired of them just yet but it’s fun to change it up once in a while. :D

I just now applied an Essie color, what a coincidence. I have been on the lookout for this specific color and even here in SF its hard to find. Its very lovely and looks great paired with Jitterbug. What a shame that it is so expensive out there!

Thanks for your lovely comment Ami! I bet Van D'Go is htf because it's such a popular one! I hope you will find it eventually though, it's a real beauty :) and yes it's very sad it's so pricey because I am honestly really happy with the formula. It's the same with other great American nail polish brands, even cheap ones like Sinful Colors are sold for €6 (8 dollars) here. :(

Hi Emily,

These nails are really lovely! Love the sweet pink polish and the nail art is great, think the union jack might be my favourite :)

Thanks, T xx
