Blonde Bombshell – Lorelei’s Tiara – Some Like It Haute – Marry A Millionaire – Material Girl – Love Marilyn

As promised, I bring you my swatches of the China Glaze Eye Candy collection! One of the two collections China Glaze is releasing this year for the holiday season. This collection consists of 6 glitters!

All of the swatches are 3 coats and none have topcoat. I would however, definitely suggest using a topcoat over these as heavy glitters can leave a rougher surface. All of them sit in a sheer, almost entirely clear base so they are buildable but do give completely coverage in three layers. I personally would layer them over other polishes, especially since one coat of glitter is easier to remove than three if you catch my drift. :D

Blonde Bombshell – This is a gold with fine gold glitter dust and small hexagonal gold glitters. This is honestly very pretty and perfect for the holidays or a party. This polish really makes your nails look like jewellery! They are definitly worthy of the name “bling”. Bling nails!

Lorelei’s Tiara – This is a silver with fine silver glitter dust and small hexagonal blue glitter. This is my least favourite, I don’t love what the blue glitter is doing for this polish. On its own it doesn’t speak to me, however, layer this over a turquoise and it comes to life! More on that in part II. ;)

Some Like It Haute – This is a dark grey with dark fine glitter dust and hexagonal holographic glitter. This one is really nice and will speak a lot to the holo fans out there. It’s not a holographic polish but when you layer it over a black polish the holo glitters give a really nice effect. I wish the glitter was black instead of dark grey but it’s still really lovely.

Marry A Millionaire – This is a purple with fine purple glitter dust and green string glitter. This is my first bar/string/confetti glitter polish! The string glitter is very subtle but it really screams party! This is the best layering glitter polish out of the collection, it looks great over a lot of colours. Definitely the most interesting one out of the bunch.

Material Girl – This is a dusty rose with small rose hexagonal glitter and larger holographic pink glitter. I really love colours like this so I am in love with this polish. I’m not 100% convinced this polish fits with the rest of them but I personally like it.

Love Marilyn – This is a red with fine red glitter dust, small hexagonal red glitter particles and silver hexagonal glitter. It’s very pretty and perfect for the holidays.

Overall this is a wonderful collection! I think glitters are perfect for the holidays so I’m really glad they created this along side a more classic and traditional holiday collection. I usually don’t like sheers but with these glitters it definitely works because it makes them a lot more versatile. They look wonderful on their own but wait till you see what these look like over other colours! My overall favourite would be Marry A Millionaire on its own and Blonde Bombshell layered over other colours.

Part II will show you how these glitters look like layered! I have a few very exciting combination to share which I think you will love. If this doesn’t make you want these glitters then my next post definitely will.

Which is your favourite of this collection? Will you be purchasing any? Let me know in the comments below!

I was kindly sent these products by AII Beauty to review. I am not in any way affiliated with this company nor am I being paid by them! All opinions stated are honest and my own, as always.

Ja glitter verwijderen is alles behalve plezant.
