Aztec Nails

Just a quick nail art manicure today! These are Aztec nails and I believe they were made big by nail salon WAH Nails. They’ve done them so many times in all the possible colour combinations you can imagine. Apologies for the somewhat awkward hand position, my non-dominant right hand came out better but photographing it was less than ideal! 
For my Aztec nails I used:
- Barry M Mint Green
- Barry M Berry Ice Cream
- New Look Bambi
- H&M Being On The A-List
- Black nail polish and a thin nail art brush
I cut my nails short recently since they took such a beating from all the 3D acrylic. I was looking around for ideas and stumbled across these. For some reason Aztec nails never really stood out to me but lately I’ve been really in love with them. They are also perfect for short nails! I wore these to a dinner party and since my outfit was very sober I decided these would be perfect for a pop of colour.

I love the tribal/aztec nail trend, it’s so fresh and fun! I did one just a few weeks ago and I think I’m gonna do another with a new colour combo. This looks great!

Thank you! I actually never really liked aztec nails but they've really grown on me in the past few weeks. With the right colour combination it's just so fun! I also like that they look really impressive but don't require a lot of skill, just patience I guess
